Discomfort is not always a warning
Ambition, character, and personal growth
Discomfort carries several messages, and we often interpret all of them as “stop.”
Sometimes it is a genuine warning. Sometimes it is the feeling of being unpractised, exposed, or outside a familiar identity.
Growth depends on learning the difference.
A useful question is whether the discomfort signals danger or merely the absence of certainty. The first may require protection. The second may require one more step.
