Knowledge compounds through connection

Learning, focus, and mental models

An isolated fact has limited value. A connected idea can travel.

Learning compounds when a concept from psychology changes how we understand marketing, when an idea from biology clarifies an organisation, or when history reveals a pattern inside a current technology shift.

This is why broad reading can become practical. The advantage is not the number of books completed. It is the number of useful connections available when a real decision appears.

Knowledge becomes leverage when it can move between contexts.
