New technology, old assumptions

Most organisations use new technology to do old things faster.

That is useful, but it is rarely where the largest gains come from.

The deeper opportunity appears when we question the work itself. Why does this process exist? Which constraint created it? Does that constraint still matter? If intelligence becomes inexpensive and available everywhere, which layers of approval, coordination, and repetition are no longer necessary?

Adding AI to an old workflow may produce efficiency. Redesigning the workflow around abundant intelligence can produce an entirely different company.

The difficult part is not adopting the tool. It is letting go of the assumptions that existed before the tool arrived.
