The next necessary thing

We often delay action until the entire path becomes visible.

For consequential work, it rarely does. The path emerges through movement, correction, and contact with circumstances that could not have been understood in advance.

This is not an argument for acting carelessly. Preparation matters. It is an argument against requiring certainty that reality cannot provide.

When the future feels too large to solve, I return to a smaller question: what is the next necessary thing?

Not the most impressive thing. Not the complete answer. The next action that reality is asking for now.
